A year ago I sat at Melbourne International airport, crying, nervous as all hell about my exchange. I was only supposed to be gone for seven months. It terrified me a little. Now it’s all over. I’m back at the airport, but this time I’m coming home. I don’t think it’s possible to cry any more than I have in the past couple of days. This has been the most incredible year of my life. Back to reality. Readjustment is going to be a bitch. Ahh well, here we go.

Sweden, it’s been an honour.

The amazing thing about exchange has been meeting fantastic people who I really gel with, who I love to converse with, who are just all-round swell folk. The sad thing is moving away from them.

This thing is really ending.

Sad post is sad.

Two pills of Bakis

It’s Swedish for ‘hangover’. It’s 7.05am. I doubt it’ll make much of a difference, but here’s to unfortunate optimism.

Ohhh and Happy New Year and all that shit.

Haven’t been updating the bloggins much lately. Been crazy busy. So here’s a GPOY. A pathetic excuse for a post, but a post nonetheless.

Munich. It was crazy fun.

Couldn’t bear the thought of another weekend in Uppsala

so booked a trip to Munich for tomorrow with a couple of the girl I work with. Should be… not Swedish, which is exactly what I’m after.

I have an ear infection

and all WebMD has really taught me is that, as an adult, I really shouldn’t have an ear infection.

Your doctor will talk to you about your child’s symptoms. Then he or she will look into your child’s ears. A special tool with a light lets the doctor see the eardrum and tell whether there is fluid behind it. This exam is rarely uncomfortable. It bothers some children more than others.”

I’m perplexed. Why the hell do I have this damn ear infection?
